Description

The radial-cantilever automatic machine "ARK-4M" with a power source "Tetrix 451 AC/DC TM" is designed for argon arc welding of anti-corrosion, titanium and heat-resistant alloys in the horizontal plane with a tungsten non-consumable electrode in argon. The welding process is carried out in two modes - continuous and pulsed.

To install the console with the welding head carriage in the position required for welding, the machine has the following movements:
- columns around a vertical axis;
- consoles along the column up and down;
- carriages with a welding head along the console.
For precise installation of the electrode on the joint being welded, the welding head has all the necessary adjustment movements.

The "ARK-4M" assault rifle consists of the following main components:
- Beam
- Driven carriage
- Gas and water distribution
- Head for argon-arc welding with a non-consumable electrode with an arc length tracking system “ASGV-4ARK”
- Gas block
- Power supply “Tetrix 451 AC/DC TM”
The beam is a welded box-section structure with guides and a rail. The beam is used to move the carriage with the welding head along the product being welded.
The driven carriage includes a welded housing and a carriage drive. Designed to move the welding head along the beam.
Electrical gas distribution serves for electrical connection of the head with electrical components and the components among themselves. The gas-water-electrical distribution includes hoses and control wires with connectors, tubes for protective gas, tubes for coolant, and an adapter block with fittings. Using gas tubes, communication is carried out from the gas cylinder, through the gas valve and distributor through the rotamers to the welding torch, to the protective visor and to the blower to the product.

The head for argon-arc welding "ASGV-4ARK" is intended for automatic argon-arc welding with a non-consumable electrode of longitudinal, circular and circular seams of products made of stainless steels, titanium alloys with a constantly burning DC arc and a pulsed DC arc. Welding is carried out both with and without wire feeding. The head has a system for automatically maintaining the specified arc gap value and a burner oscillation device.
The welding head is attached to the movable carriage of the guide beam. Using the head, adjustment and working movements of the burner are carried out:
- installation movements of the torch vertically in the setting mode or in the mode of automatically maintaining the specified arc gap value;
- installation movements of the torch to the welded joint in the transverse direction in manual adjustment mode;
- installation movements of the wire feed tip relative to the torch vertically, in the transverse direction and installing it in the welding plane at the optimal angle;
- turning the torch in the welding plane at an angle of ±90º and then fixing it.

The gas block is used to regulate and supply protective gas to the burner and for blowing.

The TIG welding inverter EWM TETRIX 451 AC/DC is used in industrial production for gas-shielded argon arc welding (TIG) and manual arc welding with direct and alternating current (MMA). The device is excellent for welding aluminum workpieces of different thicknesses. The inverter is transported using lifting mechanisms; for this purpose, four durable rings are provided in the top panel.
