The working process is carried out in a sealed chamber with a controlled argon environment using a manual welding torch.
Products are loaded into the vacuum chamber through a sliding front cover. After loading the products, the lid is pressed against the flange of the vacuum chamber using pneumatic clamps. A vacuum of 5×10-5 mmHg is created in the chamber using a vacuum system. When the specified vacuum is reached from the inlet ramp, argon is injected into the chamber through a control and regulating device to an excess pressure of 0.004 to 0.005 MPa. The chamber with loaded products is ready for welding.
Control of the work process - turning on and off the welding arc, regulation of the welding current - is carried out using a foot pedal. The operating pressure of argon inside the vacuum chamber is maintained by a control and regulating device. In case of emergency overpressure, it is released by a safety valve. The welding arc is powered from the VSVU-400 power source.
The welding process is carried out with a hand torch through hand (glove) inputs inside the chamber.
Visual observation of the process is carried out through portholes
